IEMT: Move Past What’s Holding You Back
IEMT is a therapeutic approach that uses eye movements to help people process and release emotional distress and trauma. It works by influencing how the brain stores and recalls memories, especially those tied to negative emotions.
This technique is effective in addressing anxiety, stress, trauma, PTSD, phobias, and emotional blockages. Unlike traditional talk therapy, IEMT focuses on how emotions are stored rather than the details of the experience itself. By reducing the emotional intensity of troubling memories, IEMT helps you become unstuck and move forward in life.
The beauty of IEMT is that it can work quickly, and it doesn’t require you to talk about your problem unless you want to, making it a non-disclosure therapy.
What happens in a session?
I will guide you to briefly notice a memory, feeling, or belief while directing your eye movements through precise patterns. This helps loosen the intensity and create space for calmer responses. Sessions are collaborative, paced to your comfort, and aimed at change you can actually feel—more ease, more choice, more breath.

Once you’ve begun to release deep emotional pain through IEMT, yoga helps you continue your healing journey. Through breath and gentle movement, you’ll learn to settle your nervous system, release held tension, and rebuild self-trust. What happens on the mat, the patience, the small wins, the “try again tomorrow”, starts to shape how you meet everything else.
